Ocean Retreat to Triopetra Beach in Southern Crete | May 19-26, 2018
Nora Heilmann and Tamar Samir are delighted to be offering another week-long retreat at YogaRocks, this time in late spring. The proximity of the ocean has inspired us to look deeply into the interconnectivity and environmental relevance of the earth’s blue lung. Many references in yogic texts describe our state of interbeing as an ocean of awareness. All life on earth depends on the balance and biodiversity of mother ocean.
During this week you are invited to take a deep dive into meditation, pranayama, dynamic vinyasa classes, restorative practice, and yoga philosophy. Together we will co-create an inspiring week of conscious living and collective sharing. There will be plenty of time to play music, relax and enjoy the chilled out vibe at YogaRocks swinging in a hammock under the stars. If you play a musical instrument, please bring it along! We will enjoy our mornings until breakfast in silence (not talking). This retreat is vegan.
Triopetra Beach in southern Crete is unspoiled and raw. The outdoor yoga shala overlooks the ocean, there are plenty of hammocks for reading and chilling, the fantastic vegan food is local, organic and delicious and you can cool off in the pool or directly in the ocean. In addition to yoga and meditation, you can look forward to live music, gorgeous sunsets, night time stargazing, and making new friends!
COST: 900 euro all in (yoga classes, accommodation, organic/local/vegan food) with a 50 euro discount for early birds by Dec 15. Single rooms available, otherwise shared (2 people).
Early bird sign-up starts in November 2017.
PLEASE NOTE: Travel from the US can be expensive. Book your flights early, and know that the reasonable retreat rate will make up for the cost of the flight. We recommend staying some extra days in Greece before or after the retreat.
7-9:30 morning practice (meditation, pranayama, asana)
5-6:30 afternoon practice (flow & restore gentle practice)
On some evenings we will have Kirtan, a movie night, or star gazing.
