Crete Retreat

The Ocean of Awareness Retreat with Nora & Tamar to Triopetra Beach in Southern Crete, Aug 5-12, 2017.

We’re delighted to be offering another transformational summer retreat at YogaRocks. The proximity of the ocean has inspired us to look deeply into the spiritual and environmental relevance of the earth’s blue lung. Many references in the sacred texts of yoga describe our true nature as an ocean of awareness. All life on earth depends on the inner balance of that ocean.

This week will take you on a journey into Self-exploration through walking and seated meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, Sanskrit chanting, and dynamic vinyasa classes. Together we will co-create an inspiring week of conscious living, close to nature. One full day will be silent (mauna).

Triopetra Beach in southern Crete is unspoiled and raw. The outdoor yoga shala overlooks the ocean, there are plenty of hammocks for reading and chilling, the fantastic vegan food is local, organic and delicious and you can cool off in the pool or directly in the ocean. In addition to yoga and meditation, you can look forward to live music, gorgeous sunsets, night time stargazing, and making new friends!

COST: 850 euro all in (yoga classes, accommodation, organic/local/vegan food) with a 50 euro discount for early birds by Dec 15. Single rooms available, otherwise shared (2 people).
